Takin It to the Streets
The 2009 theme for Crossroads Community Church is Evangelism, what we are calling "Takin' It to the Streets." The 'It' is the good news of Jesus Christ – the life-changing message of what He can do in our lives. Throughout the year we will not only discuss the biblical mandate of sharing our faith, but we will also provide multiple opportunities, individually and collectively, to do just that. We invite you to be a part of "Takin' It to the Streets"
February 15 - "Go"
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
There it is. Pretty simple. Pretty straightforward. And it wasn’t a suggestion, was it? In this message we will begin to unpack this verse, which is commonly called "The Great Commission" and see just what it means for us individually and what it means for us who call Crossroads Community Church our home.

February 22 - "Why ask for directions?"
Someone once said "Preach the Gospel, and if necessary use words." At first glance, this statement seems to make a lot of sense. But, on second thought, is it really true? According to scripture, it isn’t. None of us are required to be the next great evangelist, but we are required to simply be able to share our story: what God has done for us. You see, in preaching the gospel, words are indeed necessary.

March 8 - "Merge" [Friendship Sunday]
If you are thinking of visiting Crossroads Community Church, then this Sunday is for you. If you have been thinking of inviting someone to Crossroads Community Church, then this Sunday is for you too! This week is all about inviting a friend to church…just asking them to check us – and God – out in a non-threatening, non-pressurized kind of way. They will be able to hear, first-hand, what God has done in the lives of ordinary people, just like them…and you!
