Bloodline
November 1 - November 29
The Christian faith can be traced back a long, long time to one individual; his name was Abraham and he was the man that God chose to carry out his plan. And while Abraham lived long ago, his story - and life lessons - offers relevance for us even in the 21st century. Join us for this series about the life, and times, of Abraham.
November 1: The Patriarch
If you are a follower of Jesus, you can be sure of one thing: at some point in time, He is going to ask you to do something! In other words, He is going to ask you to step out in faith and do something, be a part of some endeavor that you think is impossible. When (not if!) that moment comes, how will you respond? In this first message of our "Bloodline" series, we will see how Abraham responded to God's call on his life.

November 8: All in the Family
Being in a relationship with someone takes trust - without it, real relationships just aren't possible. It is no different in our relationship with God - He asks us to trust Him. Unfortunately, many times our trust wanes and we take matters in our own hands, which usually has negative consequences. Abraham did this as well: instead of waiting on God, he carried out his own plan. Let's relive the story and learn how to really wait on God and his perfect timing.

November 15: Inheritance
There is a word that we don't use much anymore in our culture...it is the word "covenant." But in the days of Abraham, people knew the word because it was important to them; it is important to God as well. God made a covenant with Abraham that is still in effect today! In this message we will look at the biblical principle of covenants and how it applies to us and our relationship with God.

November 22: Family Feud
Most of us heard, for the first time, the story of Lot and his wife in Sunday School. You remember...Lot's wife "looked back" and turned into a pillar of salt! Why would God do such a thing? And what can we learn from this story to apply to our lives today? Join us for this message to find the answers!

November 29: Blood Test
God desires our total commitment to Him…total commitment. This kind of commitment often means we must be willing to give up - sacrifice - other things in our life as we seek to serve Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Is this kind of sacrifice easy? Usually, not at all! Abraham faced a test of his commitment - and through his response gives us all a valuable lesson in regarding the faithfulness of God!
