"Come Together - 40 Days of Community"
Sunday September 21 - November 9, 2008
Five years ago Crossroads Community Church participated in the "40 Days of Purpose" campaign. That campaign asked the question: What on earth am I here for? We, as a church body, sought to answer that question, and in so doing found real unity and common purpose as we discovered that we are on the earth for a greater purpose than just ourselves. We are here to serve God and bring him glory. Now, five years later, we are embarking on another campaign, this one called "40 Days of Community." The question we will ask now is: "What on earth are WE here for?" For the next eight weeks we look to find the answer to that question; we hope you will join us!
September 21: Get In The Game
It’s here! After talking and planning since January, it is finally time to start “40 Days of Community!” The question that was asked during the “40 Days of Purpose” campaign was: “What am I here for?” For the next 8 weeks we will be asking a different question: “What are we here for?” How would you answer that question? Join us for Kickoff Sunday as we begin to search for answers and set the stage for what will be one of the most exciting times ever for Crossroads Community Church!

September 28: Rescue Me
Human beings were not made to be completely by themselves, living in total isolation. Rather, we were made to live in community, more specifically, biblical community. This is where we find our real purpose in life: living in community with Him and with the community of faith. Why do we need other to feel real purpose? We will answer this important question today and in doing so focus on the greatest lesson that can be learned in life.

October 5: Reach Out
As Christians, we have been given a very specific mission: to share the love of God with other people. We have the most wonderful story in the world to tell, and so many people that need to hear it. But, we are not to tell this story completely alone. Rather, God wants us to do it together – in community! This message will speak clearly about how to P-A-R-T-N-E-R with other believers to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
