Donnie Stubblefield

Standing only 5"6", you can count on Donnie's Bio being short. J Donnie and his family [Wife of 24 years Leslie, daughter Chelsea and sons Josh and Nick] moved to Crossroads after serving 8 years at St. John Lutheran Church in St Louis, MO. Donnie's backgrounds in business and youth ministry have helped develop a relational youth ministry that helps teens work through a personal process of developing purpose in leadership. Donnie is frequently mistaken for Brad Pitt…except he's shorter, has less hair, and is bow-legged.

What brought me to Crossroads . . . God definitely led us to Crossroads. We were in our eighth year in StL on a Juarez mission trip when God spoke to my heart about heading north to serve Him at Crossroads.

Best part of my job . . . sharing my life as well as the gospel with teens. It’s really cool when teenagers come back as young adults to serve in the ministry or on a mission trip.

Who inspires me (other than Jesus) . . . hurting teenagers who have a longing desire to know real love.

What energizes me . . . I am totally stoked by teens who want to make ministry happen. I love it when they brain storm and their heart and passion for Christ wells up and overflows into the lives of their friends.

What makes me laugh . . . It’s easy to laugh at Crossroads….we have Pastor Ed!!!!! More churches need to laugh.
